I hope you read my review of last weeks Still Standing and if you never have watched the show, I hope these reviews make you want to watch! Just a great comedy to cheer you up! Anyway, the show starts out with Lynda talking about her fiance, Perry. Lynda has been through many guys in her life but she finally thinks this is the one.
Lynda is so occupied with mooching and planning the wedding with her precious Perry, that she completely neglects her sister, Judy. Judy has never been ignored by Lynda and she is lonely because of this. Meanwhile, Judy and Bill order a pizza and they go and retrieve Brian’s money-box to pay for it. They find that Brian has been spending all of his money without them knowing and when confronted about it, Brian is angry. Judy then says, you know your father and I haven’t saved a cent”. (That is something my mom or me would say!)
Brian admits to spending all of his money on some new card game that is popular but he has been hiding them because he knew Bill and Judy would laugh at it. Of course Judy and Bill laugh their heads off about it. Brian defends himself by saying that they are worth close to a thousand dollars and Bill and Judy immediately want him to sell them. (I know it sounds geeky but let the child have a hobby!)
Anyway, since Lynda is still ignoring Judy, she befriends Bill’s best friend Fitz. Judy takes him shopping and to do all kinds of other girly activities and he is glad because he wanted to get away from his wife. Meanwhile, Bill and Brian go to this big card tournament to sell the cards but Bill ends up letting Brian play in the tournament because Brian is doing something that Bill can cheer Brian on. They end up not selling the cards and both have a healthier relationship at the end of the day. Judy and Fitz are doing a lot of things together but this doesn’t upset Bill at all but it upsets Lynda. Lynda decides to make more time to spend with Judy.
This was as always a hysterical episode. It is hard for me to remember an episode not being funny. The show also has follows a good plot as well. What did you think of this episode. Send me a comment or an email. Give me your two cents.
