Last week, Alicia had it out with Peter by moving him to another apartment. This week, she almost does the same with Kalinda, who starts looking for another job.

Quite frankly, Alicia was a bitch in this episode. We get it that she feels betrayed by Kalinda, who slept with Peter, but she goes pretty far with her verbal assaults.

I actually felt sorry for Kalinda after Alicia confronted her, asking Kalinda to never be in the same room with her. The stoic Kalinda made it all the way to the elevator before she broke down. It’s the most vulnerable we’ve ever seen the all-business investigator.

Alicia also verbally lashes Jackie, who sneaks into the house and tries to get the kids to stop the separation. Really, Jackie had that one coming.

Alicia is sitting first chair defending Stephanie Engler (a nicely muted Sarah Silverman), a woman whose website sets up adulterous dates. One of these dates ends up dead and the victim’s wife is suing Stephanie. The delicious Nancy Crozier, always beautifully played by Mamie Gummer, is back prosecuting a case she says is all about sex.

In the end, it’s Stephanie’s husband who killed the victim over jealousy. Guess he wasn’t OK with her website either. He’s caught by Kalinda, who searches for his avatar image and finds him (this was one of the most unbelievable things I’ve ever seen on this show because she does it in two minutes – right).

Meanwhile, Kalinda looks for another job, but the corporate position she takes would end up with her back at the State’s attorney’s office. For the first time we see her smile, as even she sees the irony of that.

Meanwhile Alicia meets with the firm’s divorce attorney, David Lee, and they almost have a tender moment as David helps her to start protecting her financial assets.

The one really interesting thing is Will’s reaction when Kalinda tells him Alicia and Peter are separated. And if next week’s coming attractions are to be believed, we finally get some physical pay off on this long simmering romance.

Do you think Alicia was too hard on Kalinda? Do you think Alicia will ever forgive her? Aren’t you glad you don’t have Jackie as a mother-in-law? Give us your TwoCents…

I love Kalinda but Alicia had every right to react the way she did. I mean yeah it was harsh, but understandable. She lost every friend she had before due to Peter’s scandal, and here she thought she found a friend in someone who didn’t associate her with Peter, but it turned out to be ultimately worse. At the peak of their friendship it all came crushing down. I actually think she was more hurt by Kalinda ‘pretending’ to be her friend (as Alicia saw it) while knowing that she was one of the women Peter slept with, than she was by the fact that they slept together. If she’d known from the beginning she would’ve probably just ignored her like she did with Amber, but a bond was already formed.
