It’s another two hour results show. The first hour was dedicated to showing the best results show performances. An eclectic mix of performances from the pros and musical guests.

Hour two finally gets us to the results. Chelsea & Mark topped the leader board with Hines & Kim and Kirstie & Maks right behind. Injured Ralph landed at the bottom nine points behind the leader. Did the fans save him? Read on to find out.

Best Results Show Performances

“Hard to Handle” – DWTS Pros – Season 6
“Malaguena” Paso Doble – Chelsie and Derek – Season 10 (This performance earned Derek & Chelsie an Emmy nomination for choreography)
“Do It Well” – Jennifer Lopez – Season 5
“Fly On the Wall” – Miley Cyrus – Season 7 (Miley Cyrus ahs no rhythm for dancing. And what was with that weird red fingertip glove thing?)
“Carmina Burana” – Vittorio Grigolo & DWTS Pros – Season 3 (Awesome)
“Thunder” – Nuttin’ but Stringz and Tiler Peck – Season 10 (Those guys can seriously play)
“Great Balls of Fire” – Derek and Julianne – Season 7 (so cute!!!)
“Toxic” – Mark Ballas & Val Chmerkovskiy – Season 11
“Yeah” – Usher – Season 6
“Let Me Entertain you” – DWTS Pros – Season 6
“Yeah 3x” – Chris Brown – Season 12
“Dancing Through the Decades” – Macy’s 150th Celebration – Season 7 (the nod to the 80s was the best part)

Results Show
Encore Dance: Kirstie & Maks Argentine Tango

Musical Guests: Michael Bolton & Delta Goodrem did a duet, Delta Goodrem sang by herself with only one hour notice and Adele sang. Adele was supposed to sing “Natural Woman,” but she’s not feeling well and can’t hit the higher register, so Delta stepped in at the last minute. I’ve never actually heard Adele sing before – she’s spectacular. Her voice was different than I was expecting. I thought she was more operatic, but it’s very homey and natural.

This week’s inspirational story was about the Tuita brothers. All three boys are dancers and they recently lost their father to a massive stroke. Hefa, the oldest brother, actually appeared in the performance that Chris Brown did earlier this season. They were so good!

Dancecenter was back but honestly the Dancecenter “commercials” were funnier than the actual dancing analysis.

Romeo will not be dancing in the semi-finals. The fans pulled through and saved Ralph from his dismal scores yesterday and the judges did not look happy about this elimination. I hope Ralph can recover enough to dance THREE dances next week. Isn’t that usually reserved for the finals? It’s going to be tough – I can’t wait! What did you all think? Leave me your two cents.

  1. Nette says:

Is it just me or is Ralph all over Karina, all the time? It’s really annoying lol!

  2. annette says:

It’s been a touch feely kind of season. Maks is always kissing Kirstie. And Hines and Kym are pretty cosy as well!

  3. Connie says:

Even do I got my wish it was sad seeing Romeo leaving.
About the touching the other two couples are also always hugging and kissing.
