Since nobody went home last week, we are still at our final five. Those left are Jay, Irene, Austin, Hannah and Olivia. I have to admit, none of my faves are still in it. I am still rooting for Courtney to win the at-home prize and am undecided about those still in the game. Olivia and Hannah are so proud that they are still in it together. They are the only team standing. I am not that fond of Olivia for some reason, but I like Hannah. I think that my favorite is Jay, who is still astounded that he didn’t go home last week. But there are no Fairy Godfathers this week. Someone is going home.

Ali meets them all and announces that its final exam week. They will have four different tests, one with each trainer:

Bob – Spinning
Brett – Health and Wellness
Cara – Boxing
Jillian – Motivation Techniques
The trainers will give them each a grade and whoever has the highest grade at the end of the tests will get $10K. That’s a nice chunk of change…I hope they were all paying attention.

First is Bob with the spinning. They each need to teach him like he’s a beginner. Irene struggled quite a bit and didn’t score very well. Jay pushes his lesson too far when he asks Bob to take the seat off the bike. Austin should really be a teacher, because he has a very nice manner and takes everything step-by-step. But Olivia and Hannah blow the others out of the water. Here are their scores:
Olivia – 100
Hannah – 100
Austin – 95
Irene – 72
Jay – 58

Next is Brett with the Health and Wellness quiz. He is dressed in the stereotypical professor outfit, it’s actually quite amusing. He has questions about types of exercises and the difference in carbs and other nutrients. I am sure there are more we didn’t see. Here is how they did:
Jay – 88
Olivia – 83
Austin – 82
Irene – 80
Hannah – 77

On to Cara with the boxing, she asks them to remain stoic and not laugh during the face-offs. Hannah is the only one who laughs, so she gets points deducted from what would have been a perfect score. Everyone else did a great job except for Irene, who still doubts herself a little bit. Here are their scores:
Olivia – 100
Austin – 95
Jay – 95
Hannah – 92
Irene – 70

It’s looking good for Olivia. Finally on to motivation with Jillian, she acts with each contestant as though she is them. She states their doubts and fears and they have to tell her how to conquer those feelings. I don’t know about any of you, but they all motivated me, that’s for sure! Here are their scores on this round:
Hannah – 90
Jay – 90
Olivia – 89
Irene – 85
Austin – 85

Later they meet Ali in the gym and she announces one final test. They will play the X-Box 360 game Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout for Kinect. They will be playing their own avatars and will be scored by their skill levels. There are four activities. Whoever does the best will get 100 points. The four activities are Sumo Jump Squats, High Knee Jump Rope, Skating, and Standing Mountain Climbers. It comes down to Hannah and Olivia and in the end, Hannah gets the 100 points. Ali adds up the final scores and with only a 3 point difference, Olivia (462) beats her sister (459) and gets the $10K. She also wins an X-Box 360 with Kinect and the Biggest Loser game, of course.

During workouts, Jillian focuses on Jay because she feels he might be getting complacent and is lacking the will to fight. She helps remind him exactly what it is he’s fighting for. Cara sits with Austin and goes over what a boxer should be eating. Basically it’s a little infomercial for milk with breakfast…preferably fat free or low-fat.

At the challenge, they have to race to the top of a platform by piling 100 sand bags and climbing. Whoever gets to the top and raises their flag first wins a 1 pound advantage at the weigh-in. It’s going to be a lengthy challenge, depending on how fast they can move their sand bags up to the second and third levels. Olivia takes an early lead and Hannah falls behind because her back is still not 100%. Austin gains on Olivia and ends up winning, but how much does he really need that pound? It would have been better going with a girl, don’t you think? It should be an interesting weigh-in.

They stop for lunch at Subway and have another little quiz. How many calories are in a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki 6” sub? Closest wins a $500 Subway gift card. Hannah guesses 380 on the dot and wins! And now I’m hungry. For last chance workouts, they work out with Bob and Brett. Austin never thought he’d come this far and he thinks he’s probably pretty safe. Which of course means he’s probably not.

At the weigh-in, Ali gives Olivia and Austin a choice. Olivia can trade her $10K in for a 1 pound advantage and Austin can turn in his 1 pound for $10K. Bob and Jillian express mixed emotions. The exchange between them is actually quite humorous. I am going to miss Jill next season! Austin keeps his 1 pound and Bob is pleased. Jillian is a bit upset when Olivia keeps her money. Here are the weigh-in results:

Jay – 9 lbs (1 for every life he’s had in the house!) – 3.53%
Irene – 5 – 3.29%
Olivia – 5 – 3.16%
Hannah – 4 – 2.60%
Austin – 1, plus advantage = 2 – 0.85%

It’s so heartbreaking when Austin begins to cry and it comes down to himself or Hannah. By a vote of 2 to 0, Austin is eliminated from the game, leaving Jay, Irene, Olivia, and Hannah as our final four. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team make it all the way to the end together, let alone sisters. I do think that’s pretty awesome.

At home, Austin continues to fight and lose weight on his own. He wrote a song and sang it to the fifth grade class as his school to motivate them to eat healthier. I wish him luck in the race for the at-home prize. What do you all think of the final four? Who are you rooting for? Did your faves make it? Please fill us in with your TwoCents below. I won’t miss Jillian at all. I’ve never really watched this show before this season, so maybe I would like her better if I had. I was appalled by her treatment of Olivia at the weigh-in. She doesn’t know Olivia’s circumstances and her true decisions behind keeping the money. She’s an opera singer which means work is not steady. I know she talked about using the money for vacation, which isn’t technically a necessity, but maybe it’s something the two of them really need considering she’s been away from home for 19 weeks. I thought it was disrespectful and disgusting the language Jillian was using in speaking to her. What little respect I had for her was completely gone by the end of the episode.

As for Austin, I teared up when he started to cry. He’s become such a wonderful strong confident man. He deserved to be in the final four, but I think he’ll do great at home as well.
