Last night’s Americana theme made for an interesting night of dancing. Everyone did the best they could, and there’s still no clear front runner in this competition.
Going into elimination tonight, Hines Ward was at the top of the leader board, while Ralph, Petra, and Kendra were in a three way tie for the bottom.
Encore dance: Romeo and Chelsie. This was definitely a good choice. It was the only song last night that didn’t make my ears bleed.
Musical guest: Toby Keith
Macy’s Stars of Dance: American Dream. A funky hip hop dance (choreographed by Madonna’s choreographer) about making it in New York City. It was very fun.
Mike Catherwood was brought back to do a little filler showing video of some of the weirder outtakes from rehearsals and performances. It was fun and good to see Mike again. I wished he’d been able to stick around a little longer.
The celebrity going home this week is Petra. I had a feeling it would come down to her or Kendra. The models notoriously don’t have enough fans to keep them in long, and unfortunately her scores just weren’t good enough. I’m sorry to see her go; she seemed like a lovely person. Next week will be guilty pleasures night. I’m not sure what to think of that.
How did you all feel about the elimination? Leave me your two cents!

Like you I was hoping for Kendra to be eliminated, but is no surprise was Petra, to bad, she had talent.
In another note; for me last Monday was horrible with the music, admire the Pros. for what they did.
