First Image of Adrianne Palicki as “Wonder Woman”

Warner Brothers has released the first image of Adrianne Palicki starring as the title character in the new NBC pilot “Wonder Woman,” from executive producer David E. Kelley (“Boston Legal,” “Ally McBeal,” NBC’s “Harry’s Law”).

The pilot was written by Kelley, who also serves as executive producer with Bill D’Elia (“Boston Legal,” “The Practice,” NBC’s “Harry’s Law”). Jeffrey Reiner (“The Event”) is directing.     It’s definitely different than the traditional costume in the comic book, the current comic book costume, and Linda Carter’s costume. I think that’s fine. Well, I would prefer red boots since that seems to look better.

    It seems like an impractical material for someone fighting crime and supervillains. It just looks … squeaky and hard to put on without the use of magic.

    I’d give the costume a B or B+ as a whole.

    Palicki does look right in the costume.
