A delivery man comes into Michael’s office and starts shooting at him but he misses Michael completely. Michael whips out a couple of handguns and kills the delivery guy then says “Clean up on Aisle 5”. Michael’s movie “Threat Level Midnight” is complete and you’ve just seen the beginning. You see, Michael filmed this movie several years ago (like back in the Karen and Jan days) and all of the office staff are in it. It is unintentionally hilarious, of course.
Michael will let everyone watch it as long as they’re dying to see it. Pam instructs everyone to be positive and not make fun of it. The gist of it is, Agent Scarn (Michael) must stop Goldenface (Jim) from blowing up an NHL all star game. Also, Goldenface killed Scarn’s wife back in the day so it’s personal.
The cast list is:
Stanley – Narrator
Dwight – Robot Butler
Darryl – President
Creed – Cherokee Hockey Trainer
Oscar – Speed skater
Jan – Lounge Singer
Andy – Billy the bartender
Phyllis, Karen, Meredith, Angela – Barroom Bachelorettes
Kevin, Pam, Toby – Hostages
Todd Packer – Drunk aka Himself
I’m not going to go through the whole movie but I will list my favorite parts.
– Goldenface prepares to shoot one of the hostages. It’s Toby, of course. Blows his head right off and it replays several times. In a talking head, Michael reports this was cruical to the plot. Hee.
– Scarn goes to the bar to get a drink. Billy the bartender (Andy) tries to cheer him up. The table of bachelorettes (Phyllis, Karen, Meredith, and Angela) send him a drink. Karen delivers a line extremely poorly. Billy plays track G5 on the jukebox so everyone can do “The Scarn” dance. My husband insisted I fastforward straight through this but I’m gonna watch it. That’s how much I love you guys. Oh god, there’s a rap. The dance number is extremely painful then Todd Packer stands up and delivers a drunk line that is crazy painful.
Back at the viewing, Jim is cracking up laughing and Michael stops the movie. Everyone assures him that the movie is great but when he asks Holly what she thinks, her hesitation causes him to stop the movie for good.
Michael confronts Holly and tells her that if she can’t support his movie then she doesn’t support his dream. He says his movie, his book on management (Somehow I Manage), his comedy special (Here I Go Again dot dot dot) are all he has. Holly is hurt because he has her, doesn’t he? Michael huffs off and watches the end of the movie with the staff. He decides that the movie is crap and makes up with Holly.
I actually enjoyed this episode. The movie was hilarious. I hope they make it available on the NBC website so you can view just the movie. What’d you think? Leave a comment or go puck yourself.

I cant wait to watch this tonight. Michaels film finally gets revealed!
The whole movie is available on iTunes.
