Finally we are back with our favorite FOX TV shows after a long break because of baseball. When we left off the last episode gave a glimpse of what was to happen and Hannah getting shot, sent a lot of us into a happy dance and some of us a not so happy dance. I mean ok, we want Booth to be happy, I do too, but really…with someone other than Bones? I don’t think so. How long is this going to last?
As we find out, Hannah gets shot while covering a story about some dirty cops that are moving drugs in another dealers neighborhood. Hannah is shot by a cops gun which sends Booth into a frenzy. But the real kicker here is that it is Bones that finds out she has some funky fracture that , if she didn’t catch it and bring it to the doctors attention, would have caused Hannah to die. So Bones saves her life and gets a ‘thank you’, but it is Booths ‘thank you’ that you really love.
In the end when Bones comes in to visit Hannah they realize they are very much alike in not giving up on something they like to do. There seems to be a nice connection between the two…dang! But I must admit that I like that there is someone else that gets Bones and how she thinks, other than Angela. But why do I feel as though I am “forced” to watch this? Why does this not feel very natural? Is it just because I have waited so long for B & B to get together that no matter how or who they put with my characters, I will always just want B & B together? I just don’t want another character to join my Scooby gang and that is that!
The coolest part of the episode was the bone construction-thingy that Angela had. Ok, so now I want to change career paths and have her job. This device was so freaking cool…yes, even more that her 3-D device she uses! @Trishpip on Twitter asked Hart Hanson (creator) if this is a real device and he replied:” The laser construction thing is real but we took HUGE license with how it worked, what it looked like, and how fast it worked.” Technology….never ceases to amaze me!
All in all, I enjoy seeing Booth and Bones get along like previous seasons, but miss the sexual tension and looks that Booth use to give her. It’s just not the same.
For me…Hannah just needs to go away…even though I don’t hate her.

You said it all: the best part of the show was the sexual tension.
The sexual tension is what pulls me too. However, if they don’t put them together, we know it is completely unreal to expect Booth to not have someone in his life. How long can he long for a woman to have sex with? Bones, well, she doesn’t care, or at least she can do it with someone else with no emotional attachment. That’s the problem here, Booth is IN LOVE with Hannah (or so he thinks)! That’s what sucks.
I know, let’s face it, we like the tension between our main two characters so this will pass… Right? I hope so, because we all know we want them back together.
Ooh, I feel famous now, mentioned in your recap! 🙂 Actually I was happy he answered me.. a lot of times people don’t answer.
Hannah.. erg.. I am not very invested in her – even though she and Booth are living together, I don’t give her much longer than the other serious professional blonde women who passed through his life in the earlier seasons of the show. (It’s like he has a “type” but then things don’t seem to stick..)
Her whole thing with bullying Brennan into giving her the sunglasses was weird. “Give me a present, it’s the appropriate social convention!” People don’t really talk like that (unless they’re on Bones or Big Bang Theory) As you say, I’m glad that she and Bones seem to understand each other so well.. but I think that means they both also understand about the deeper feelings Temperance has for Booth.
Ok so thank you for mentioning the sunglass thing. That was so awkward for me. Who in their right mind demand somebody elses possesions, especially from a girl that your boyfriend “was” in love with!? That should gave been eliminated, in my opinion. Anybody else??
