Welcome to another week of The Biggest Loser! I’m so sorry that I’m so late with my review. I was under the weather all week! Due to the election, the episode was only 60 minutes. But it was an action packed 60 minutes!

Immediately after Adam’s elimination, Ali announced that the next week was going to be different. Enter two large Marines. Sgt. Gonzalez and Sgt. Corona. Our gang is headed to Camp Pendleton! Hoo-Rah!!

The team’s are immediately put into vests and helmets and loaded onto trucks for the trip. They will be living on camp for the whole week. Upon arriving at CP (Camp Pendleton), they get camouflage uniforms in their team colors. They are all honored to be there…especially Frado, who served in the Marines during Desert Storm. My respect for him just shot up a few notches. But I still don’t like his diva behavior. They take a ride in a huge helicopter and I’m disappointed in my wimpy girls. Save for Ava, who has no complaints. Lisa even makes a comment about hoping the aircraft stay in the air. Trust me, these guys know what they’re doing!

Ali is honored to be there as well. Her father was stationed there. The team’s now have to hike up a huge hill with heavy packs on their backs. This is a group challenge, but not a game challenge. Anna and Liz have the hardest time. But I’m so proud of Liz. The Sgt. tells her, “You can’t breathe because you say you can’t breathe!” It’s true and she pushes through. Way to go girl! I love the blue camo, it’s a pretty color. The motivational speeches from the Marines are awesome and the teamwork is sensational for both teams.

They truly live the military life. Up before dawn, mess, rifle drills, etc. Day after day. Too easy, drill sergeant! Time for a challenge! Teams have to go through several obstacles. The course is three miles long and each person is given a pack with three 10 lb. weights. Once the race starts, they can redistribute the weight as they see fit. Winning team get phone calls home, right there from the beach. They will be accompanied by their assigned sergeants. Black team decides to take 10 lbs. from each girl and give it to the guys. The Blue team decides to keep things as they are.

The first obstacle is the infamous mud crawl. Anna and Liz need help to get through, but the team sticks together. Blue gets an early, but small, lead. Next up is a challenge pushing a tank for a distance. Blue stays ahead, but remains in sight. The third obstacle is transporting an injured Marine (the sergeants) to the transport. Then they run to the finish line and must cross as a team. Blue stays ahead, but Black starts to catch up when Elizabeth collapsed. They all take care of her and she insists on finishing. They all finish together, but Blue has already won. They are each handed a cell phone immediately and make their touching, sob-inducing, phone calls. As I’m crying like a baby, Patrick makes a great comment, “Even though we’re Black & Blue, we’re all in the same fight together!” I think I love that comment! Agree completely!

Brendan decides to get his head shaved out of solidarity. I think he’s a bit crazy, but I can see his reasoning. Bob and Jillian show up for last chance workout. They’re concerned because they don’t know what they’ve been eating, etc. Then we have our obligatory in-show infomercial. This time it’s the Blue team shilling Fiber One cereal. It’s been a couple of weeks since we had one of those.

At the weigh-in, things go really crazy! Bob is livid. Jessica loses only two lbs., Jesse gains a lb. Jillian’s not too surprised when Anna only loses 2 and Liz gains one. It comes down to Frado, who needs to lose 10 lbs. for the Black team to win. He predicts that he might have gained at least six, but he has no clue. He ends up gaining 4! Was that game play? Ada gets immunity as the Black biggest loser.

At the vote, Anna gets eliminated 3-1. I’m not surprised, but I feel bad she got separated from Jillian. She’s already proved she could do it at home, so it’s no shock that she went and lost another 80 lbs. Her son, Ulysses, is really cute, too, by the way. I’m just saying.

What did you guys think of the episode? Please comment below and give me your two cents. Thank you for reading! Be on the lookout on Tuesday for my interview with Anna.
