Somebody is getting tortured, and then in the present, somebody is getting chased. He takes a hostage (and insists he didn’t kill his wife). Cause that’s the way to convince cops that you’re innocent. So they call in Hawaii Five-O, turns out the guy (Graham) is a Navy Seal and has taken the USS Missouri hostage.
So of course McGarrett is going to be a hero and go in and confront the guy himself. Ah, our hero.
Danno and McGarrett work out the plan. The awesome plan includes a shirtless McGarrett (sigh). Kono goes to talk to the daughter, because she’s a rookie, not cause she’s a woman. Danno will investigate something else. And McGarrett goes swimming. The first guy McGarrett meets onboard is a retired seaman who knows the ships front and back, so he tags along. And when the old man hears McGarrett talk to Danno he asks if he’s talking to his wife.
Kono tries to talk to seven-year old, who has been silent since the bloody murder of her mother. But Kono has the touch. SWAT approaches the boat from the outside. At the crime scene Danno and Chin Ho (from now to be called CHK), but something doesn’t add up. They find a journal written in Russian. The SEAL is acting erratic and against his training, so they check his cabinet and find all kinds of medications. On the boat, someone makes a noise and McGarrett has to turn himself in to the Graham to keep the cover going.
CHK and Danno talk to Graham’s doctor, who diagnosed PTSD and put him on the meds. He’s been experiencing blackouts and becoming violent. On the ship, one dumb guy makes a run for him, gets knocked out, and then McGarrett has to tell him who he really is. But the negotiation goes fairly well but McGarrett doesn’t really convince him to let the hostages go. And eventually gets him to open up a little. He talks about his wife and step-daughter, and about what happened that morning. But then the paranoia returns and he locks McGarrett in the head (re: no windows).
Danno and McGarrett chat, Danno is pretty convinced that Graham is the guilty party. (PS- Danno is hysterical!) So McGarrett gives Danno a new lead, about the Russian wife, and then he hears a shot. The old man busts McGarrett out of the head, and pulls a fingerprint off the murder weapon that he snagged during the scuffle earlier. Kono gets the girl to open up, and she tells that another man and her mother were yelling, and then she gets freaked by an approaching guy in a suit. Kono goes towards the guy, and girl runs away, and gets kidnapped.
So the team is working, and McGarrett finds Graham and tries to convince him to let the hostages go again. Instead he shoots so McGarrett smokes him out. But he gets caught by Graham. The old man rescues the hostages though. But Graham doesn’t like what the team has to say when they talk on speaker, so it looks like Graham is going to execute McGarrett. Well of course that’s not going to happen. Simultaneously Danno is playing chicken with an airplane. The team gets there in the nick of time and rescues the girl.
SWAT moves in and takes the boat. Everyone almost gets shot, but in the end McGarrett saves the day, of course! McGarrett allows Graham a touching moment with his daughter before taking him in, cause he’s a good guy like that. What do you think? Share your TwoCents!

I thought the old man was gonna be killed! It’s one time I’m glad I’m wrong.
