TV Theme night was overall a big hit. Most everyone did a great job with a few notable exceptions. However, will the somewhat uneven judging affect tonight’s results?
Remember Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin are in the bottom two. The trend has been that someone from the bottom goes home. Read on to find out if the trend continues.
Right away we learn that both Kyle and Bristol are safe! A bit of a shocker for me – I would have put money on Bristol going home.
The encore dances goes to the best performance of TV Theme night – Brandy and Maks.
The musical guests are Jason Derulo and Shakira. Some very interesting performances. Jason Derulo butchered the classic Georgia On My Mind and my husband was wondering where the stripper poles were during Shakira’s song.
There obviously was not enough filler this week so the producers decided to continue TV theme week by having the stars and pros make stupid dancing infomercials. They even dragged back David Hasselhoff for one about dancing injuries that I thought was in really poor taste considering some of the rather serious injuries some celebrities have received on this show.
In a moment that caused your reviewer to dissolve in tears, a special family from the Congo was featured. A mother and her five sons escaped the violence of the Congo and came to live in the United States. The boys love to dance so to honor their mother and show her how much they love her they danced with the help of some of the female pros. It was beautiful and sweet and I got all teary as did a lot of the studio audience. More moments like this please!
Final results: Florence Henderson was eliminated. This was not a big shock and she lasted longer than most of the other older celebrities, but I thought she had another week or two in her. What do you think of the results? Leave me your two cents!

I too thought Bristol was going home … I think she lacks character and life in her dancing style. Florence was more charasmatic to I expected she would last longer as well. Disappointed again as how the votes were casted but it is what it is 🙂
