Mike and Molly, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g! On her front porch, and she’s inviting him in, but he insists on going home. To which the adorable Melissa McCarthy sniffs her armpit. Well that just won me over in a BIG way.

At the diner, Samuel continues his ribbing of Mike, which is clearly bothering him. Turns out their date last night was the infamous third date! Know what that means?

If you don’t let me clarify, the third date generally is generally the time a modern couple takes their relationship to the next (physical) level, and get as physical as it can get. At breakfast at Molly’s, Mom and sis can’t wait to hear all the sexy details. The lack of them incites some racy dialogue from the peanut gallery (gotta love Swoosie Kurtz miming a good “boob smack”).

Mike has to wear a chin strap because his hat keeps blowing off. He tries to get out of the car in protest, and the strap he’s taken off to talk to Molly (she cancels their date for that night), and his hat promptly blows off. Poor Mike. At Molly’s house, her sister is stoned and her mother has asked over a nice widower to help prevent Molly from turning into a crazy cat lady. So Molly runs away to the OA meeting, and runs into Mike. Or rather runs away from Mike.

Samuel and Carl are hanging out at the bar, and Mike comes in all dejected. He really believed he was going to spend the rest of his life with Molly. So they get drunk, and head to the strip club. Carl is a dog, and Mike has a revelation about how uncomfortable it must be to get naked in front of a stranger. Which leads them to Molly’s porch, and an attempt to win her back. When the front door fails, Mike climbs a ladder to her window. They have an incredibly sweet moment, and when Molly drags him through the indow, he falls asleep half way through. “Well that’s not something you see everyday, a house giving birth.”

Once in bed, they confess their like for each other. And say good night to whole gang camped out on Molly’s floor. What do you think? Share your TwoCents!

I loved this episode. And the show has definitely grown on me mounds since episode one. It is staying on my DVR. I have been in Mike’s shoes, I have been in Molly’s shoes (although I have never had a guy try to climb through my window before!) and loved the group sleepover.

And a nice shoutout to Ice Road Truckers in the episode there! 🙂

This is a great show. Chuck Lorre is the best.
