    And what about Haven?

  2. Farrah says:

I’m extremely sad about My Generation. 😦 But no point in talking about that now. RIP MyGen

The Whole Truth is a GREAT show. I’ve read it does great in repeats. Maybe they should move it to the time slot it’s repeating in? It’s a great premise and the way they lay out the show is great. And we always find out the truth, which doesn’t always happen with law/cop shows. Love it. Plus, Maura and Rob have amazing chemistry! And I want to know what kind of history they have and where it actually stands now. That show can NOT go away!!

    • karenbelgrad says:

I think the main reprieve for The Whole Truth was the cancellation of My Generation. I checked ratings for 9/24-5, 10/1-2, being that repeats/encores would’ve been on those nights and none of the four nights had a repeat of The Whole Truth.

I haven’t seen any DVR numbers, but they’d have to be extremely stellar to get the show anything beyond its initial 13-episode order.

BTW, you can totally tell I’m an analyst here! No emotions, just stats!! 🙂

  3. Sara M. says:

I’m just really really hoping that Detroit 187 can pull it out because I’ve only seen the two episodes thus far but I love it. ABC cannot cancel another Michael Imperioli as a cop-show on me.

    • karenbelgrad says:

With the cancellation of My Generation and the worse than D187 ratings for The Whole Truth, I’d expect (unless ratings hugely drop this week) that you’ll see all of the original 13 episodes. But don’t get your hopes up for a back-nine at this time.

  4. Chazzbot says:

It has gotten to the point, for me, that I won’t even invest the effort into watching new shows that may be canceled within a few weeks. It’s safer to wait for the 1st season to be released on DVD before I commit.

  5. JD says:

Running Wilde is good. People just seem to have their expectations blown out of proportion because it’s coming from the people who created Arrested Development. If people would look at it as its own show and not Arrested Development’s bastard offspring, they would see that it holds it’s own pretty well. I’m hoping it makes it.

  6. Katie says:

I think Terriers has some of the best writing for new shows so far this season. The characters are interesting and fully drawn, as are the relationships. The fact that things like Bleep My Dad Says gets good ratings makes me feel sad for America. Just because lots of people like to watch crap (according to ratings, which frankly don’t accurately reflect the way most people now watch television), doesn’t mean those of us who prefer well-thought-out shows shouldn’t get to see something we like, too.

I’ve only seen one episode of Detroit 187 so far (thanks DVR), but I thought it had the makings of a solid show — a hint of Homicide + The Unusuals + Life on Mars (although that last part is probably Michael Imperioli, who rocks!) Keeping my fingers crossed.

  7. Farrah says:

Did we have to remind ourselves of the death of My Boys?
