Well, we finally meet Booth’s new love of his life…um, is that what I dare call her? I wonder..will we like her for who she really is, or do we hate her just because she is in the way of Booth and Bones? If you feel the latter…is that really fair? As for the case on the show being connected to our Scooby gang, we have a couple that is found dead in a cave and they were a couple not too unlike our very own. The dead couple were 2 people from very different backgrounds that fell in love. He had a girlfriend, but felt a connection with his AA mentor, and they died trying to protect each other. Here is what happened with our gang this week:
Temp is glad that she and Booth are back working together. Booth also explained that he left Hannah (girlfriend) to come home to be with Parker. But then Hannah appears and says she joined the Washington Press Core. As she and Booth lock lips, Bones introduces herself …awkward!
Our intern Edison is back after being passed up for a promotion in Chicago. The squints ask Bones about Hannah, as Edison does his usual look of “why do we have to talk personal stuff- instead of business”. When Angela explains to Bones that they were a couple even though they weren’t having sex, Edison bursts out “everyone knows you guys were attracted to each other , I just don’t know why you didn’t rip your clothes off each other and get butt naked…” then stopped dead in his tracks as everyone looks at him. HaHa! Hodgins tells him he needs self control. This is great, for all of you who don’t know, because it was always Edison that had the control and hated talking personal stuff..here he was listening and observing this whole time!
As Temp and Angela talk, they say how sometimes life just gives you the unexpected. Angela did not expect to find a monogamous relationship, yet she did. Cam did not expect to be a parent, yet she did. Only Temp is living the life she expected…or is she??
While in the car: Booth explains to Sweets how he hated leaving Hannah and now he is really happy, blah, blah , blah…well I don’t buy all the hokey-balokie that Booth is try to sell us. Something about that scene just wasn’t convincing to me.
Then there is a scene where Bones and Hannah brag about their accomplishments. Hannah explains how they met. Booth saved her life. Then via web cam Hodgins meets Hannah and connect because Hannah agrees to some of the conspiracy theories. And we all know how Hodgins loves his theories.
Sweets & Booth are surprised to hear Bones admit that she imagined being together with Booth when she was away..fantasies if you will. Say whaaaat?
After a little afternoon delight, Booth gets ready to go back to work and Hannah tells him she is jealous of Bones…no not like that! She is jealous that they see action in the field. She is bored with the Arms Service Committee and won’t write stories from press releases. According to Booth, she just might make a little trouble.
As Booth & Bones are at Founding Fathers Bar he explains that love is when you think of someone before yourself. Bones doesn’t think she can live like that. As Hannah comes in and she and Booth leave…we are left with Bones sitting alone at the bar.
Wow. What did you think? I know all of you that are B & B shippers are already hating on Hannah, but she was ok, for me. She wasn’t obnoxious like Daisy can be at times. I think we all would like B & B to be together but maybe Booth does love her. I, for one, wasn’t buying the car scene.. but that doesn’t mean I don’t think he lying about loving Hannah. Lets see what happens. Tell me your thoughts.

Well, since we all know that B&B are the one true pairing, all I can wonder is how is Hannah’s arc going to come to its natural decline. I somewhat think she’s going to make bad blood between herself and the Jeffersonian team or the FBI because she’s hungry for action and looking for a juicy story. The show runners also teased out an “anti-Booth” storyline for this season (they imagine the Gravedigger as the anti-Brennan) so I wonder if Hannah will end up being that guy’s prey. Eh, dunno, but I know she won’t last forever. 🙂
This week’s plot? I suspected that the Park Ranger was hinky by the time he delivered the red herring to Booth’s office.
Yep, when he came to office and talked about the brother, I knew something was up. So you think they will have some killer go after Hannah.? I wonder how this is going to be played out.
