As we rapidly approach the end of the season things don’t appear to be slowing down at James River Hospital. Just when it seemed like we were pushing full force toward a triangle, another shaped is trying to emerge. Yes folks, we now seem to have a quadrangle or at least the makings of one.

Marc Anthony’s guest appearance last week definitely added another point to an already messy shape. What about the other relationship that Christina can’t help but keep off her mind? Camille and Marcus are getting closer every day.

Let’s see if our esteemed doctors managed to sort themselves out and save a few lives along the way.

Tom, Erin and Christina are all in bed together. Either he is the luckiest man on the planet or someone is dreaming. Of course it’s Tom. Christina asks him the question everyone wants to know. Why are you with her when you know you love me? Good question, Christina. He wakes up before he can be honest with her and himself.

Back at the hospital Morrissey gets on Christina about focusing on her hospital duties. He tells her the Joint Commission Inspection is rapidly approaching and they need to be prepared. Morrissey finds Tom and says that Erin referred him for the Chief of Surgery position. Tom tells him he doesn’t really want the position but Morrissey asks him to step in on an interim basis anyway. Christina overhears the conversation and questions Tom about his decision to accept the position. She brings up Erin and he tells her that Erin gets him. Ouch!

In the lobby a man claims to have attended med school with Steve. He denies knowing the man to Bobbie. Tom and Erin have a talk about him taking the Chief of Surgery position. He lets her know that he is only doing this until a permanent replacement is found. Christina goes into her office to find Camille crying with a huge bruise on her face. She tells her mom that she got into a fight with Marcus. Christina bolts down to the ER like a mother lion on the prowl and yells for Tom. But Tom is way too slow. She physically tries to attack Marcus. I have to admit that he almost got the beatdown of his life. Tom has to physically remove Christina while Erin and the entire ER look on. She tells him what Camille told her. He runs to talk to Camille with Erin close on his heels. Instead of waiting for Tom to return, Christina calls Nick.

Kelly attends a patient’s funeral. The patient’s mom comments that she left her camera at the hospital. Kelly tells her she put it away. When she gets back to the hospital, the camera is gone. Kelly asks Malia to help her find the camera, but Malia refuses. Why is Malia so difficult anyway?

Nick arrives and convinces Christina that he will take care of Marcus. He also comments that she doesn’t look well. Marcus tells Nick that the pictures weren’t his. Huh? Turns out that Camille thinks she caught Marcus “sexting”. She tells Tom that she didn’t believe him when he said the pictures weren’t his. Marcus tells Nick that his friend sent the naked pictures to his phone. He says he tried to explain what happened to Camille but she didn’t believe him. When Tom mentions jail, Camille has a change of heart.

Speaking of change of heart, Malia finds Kelly crying over the lost camera and confesses that she took it. Kelly writes Malia up for stealing and makes her take two weeks off with no pay and a note in her file. The union rep refuses Kelly’s offer but Malia decides to accept it. Maybe she really does have a heart after all.

Ding. Ding. Ding. I’m sorry but I have to ring the fight bell when Erin and Christina have scenes together. Erin goes on and on about Tom being the Chief of Surgery. Christina tells her that Tom really didn’t want that position. Erin point blank asks Christina what is the deal with her and Tom. Christina won’t elaborate but suggests Erin talk to Tom. Erin informs Christina that she doesn’t have his best interest at heart and that there are other people who want to look out for him now. Meow!

Steve ends up treating the patient who recognized him. The man is now a Pediatrician. He tells Steve that he often wondered what happened to him after he dropped out of med school. Dropped out of med school? Steve immediately pulls the “tendon damage, I need a surgeon” card and takes off. After work when Bobbie brings up the man, Steve brushes her off and goes home.

Tom, Camille, Nick and Christina convene for the real deal. Camille is the one who hit Marcus. She got the bruise when she slipped and hit her face on a defibrillator. Yes, a defibrillator. She and Marcus were in the ambulance…well let’s just saying playing doctor. A disgusted Christina calls Camille out and tells her she is not to see Marcus again. These ladies need a time out. Tom takes Camille and Nick takes Christina. They have a heart to heart and Christina tells Nick that she and Tom are history. Nick isn’t buying it at all. He tells her to confess her feelings to Tom and to apologize to Marcus.

Erin tries to convince Morrissey and Tom that Christina is a huge liability and needs to go. Morrissey tells Erin that Christina isn’t going anywhere and that Erin should focus on saving the hospital. Tom also takes Christina’s side so Erin asks what is going on between him and Christina. Tom tells her about the proposal and that they slept together. He says they are done and Erin thinks she has won. Not so fast, girlfriend.

Christina and Camille make amends. Christina lifts her ban on seeing Marcus. Camille promptly finds Marcus in the parking lot. She apologizes and confesses her love for him. He doesn’t run but merely offers her a ride home. Probably to celebrate their newfound love. Following Nick’s instructions, Christina thanks Tom and is just about to confess her feelings when Erin sticks her head in the room. I loved the glances that Erin and Christina exchanged. Erin is not giving Tom up without a fight.

So as we head into the finale, I have some lingering questions. What is going on with Steve? Is he a fraud or did he finish med school somewhere else? Is Christina ever going to stand up and tell Tom how she really feels? The longer she prolongs this the closer he gets to Erin. And what about Erin? She seems like she wants to mold Tom into her own perfect image but he seems to like it or does he? Who do you want Tom to be with? Next week it all comes to an end, so leave your two cents below!
