Eddie Cibrian
Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello reports that the former CSI: Miami star will be joining Chase on NBC this fall. Chase is a procedural crime drama that focuses on U.S. Marshals “chasing” criminals in the state of Texas. Chase stars Kelli Giddish as Annie Frost and Cole Hauser as Jimmy Godfrey.
Eddie Cibrian replaced Adam Rodriguez’s character Eric Delko, on CSI: Miami. Rodriguez left the show during the fifth episode of season eight. Cibrian played Officer Jesse Cardoza, whose career started with the Miami-Dade police who then transferred to the LAPD in 1997 and then transferred back. In the season eight episode All Fall Down, the crime lab was poisoned and Jesse Cardoza was among the many victims. Cibrian’s contract was not renewed for the ninth season of CSI: Miami.
TV Guide reports that Eddie will play a bounty hunter in at least two episodes of Chase, which will air on NBC sometime in October.
My Two-Cents: Eddie Cibrian’s character on CSI: Miami was uneven at best, and perhaps appearing on Chase is exactly what he (and his fans) needs. What do you think? Can you picture Eddie Cibrian as a bounty hunter?

You might want to mention a little earlier that he’s only on the show for a multi-episode arc. Saying that he’s joining the show and not specifying for how long makes him sound like a series regular.
I’ve never been that impressed with Cibrian’s acting. I admit he was alright on Third Watch but he wasn’t one of my favorites. Still, I know I’ll be watching anyway because of Cole Hauser, so I’ll give him another shot.
I love eddie cibrian and he has gotten a raw deal since he hooked up with leann rhimes. i wasn’t thrilled about that but that is none of my business. he is a good actor and was a lot better on csi miami than delko and a heck of alot better to look at. i hope he gets a permanent part on chase or gets his own show. i love chase it is a real good show.
