OK, so as soon as I had seen the title of this episode, I thought that Chris Gorham just was not going to get away from that Suarez family…no matter what! I thought maybe we would see Betty pop up somewhere…but nope! This week Annie has to go to Venezuela to kick some butt and indeed she does!
Annie is playing soccer with some 20 year old Diego dude, when we realize Annie needs him to get to his sister in Venezuela that is seeing our bad guy of the week. So Annie is to escort Diego and he is very happy about it since he has a huge crush on her.
Back at the SpyZone, Joan is a bit mad that Auggie helped Annie out in the field. She tells him not to do it and it is time to “let go”. Say What! Back off Joanie, Auggie can do anything…don’t you know that, give me (and him) a break.
So Annie lands in Venezuela to meet her contact Lopez, which she has no idea is really dead. Diego takes Annie to meet his sister Julia. After a brief meeting she accuses Annie of being one of those American “cougars”…hehe…which Annie denies of course. So Annie tries to convince this young dudes sister just how bad the boyfriend is and how she needs her help by getting a tracker on his bank account.
So now Annie meets Victor and she lies about being there for the Smithsonian. Then Annie notices the chain around Julia’s neck and it is her contact Lopez’s . Victor decides to take a little ride with her in his Ferrari.
Back at the SpyZone, Joan mentions how hard it is to let your former life go, to Auggie as he waits for Annie to convince Julia. Joan does this with a squeeze of Auggie’s shoulder. OK, so now I just want to punch her. Poor Auggie, must just feel bummed about not being in the field, but to have that bitch pushing the subject, ugh!
Just a note: At the SpyZone, I need to point out that Jai is pretty disturbed over the fact that Annie is on her own and in very dangerous waters, and that everyone else is very nonchalant.
So as Vic takes Annie for a very fast ride he questions her motives for being there. Then he has her take the wheel and drive. As she does he pulls a gun and tries to shoot her. She unbuckles his seatbelt and puts the car in a tight circling motion and beats the crap out of the guy and throws him out! That’s my girl! She heads back in the Ferrari. Julia accesses the acct and Auggie taps in and does his thing he does so well. Annie and Julia head out the back as Vic and his goons show up. Annie, Julia and Diego get out and head back to the States.
Annie is back at the soccer field talking to Diego and we see Auggie is back out in the field, way to go Aug! As Auggie and Annie talk they realize not all the money is accounted for. They suspect Julia as getting a cut of the money. Damn!
Julia sneaks out of the Agents sights and meets up with Vic here in the US. He tries to kill her, but the backup Agent that we will probably never see again, gets a great shot off and kills Vic.
Back home Annie thinks about her lost love as she looks at the bracelet in her box.
So what did you think of this week’s episode? What did you think of how Joan treated Auggie? Did Annie kick ass in that Ferrari or what?
Here is the PSA site Chris Gorham mentions in his PSA announcement if you would like to go and take the pledge , I did.

I wasn’t disturbed by the way joan treated auggie, after all, a blind guy in a potentially hostile job… it’s the rather normal reaction. like auggie said ‘insert ironic joke here’.
i still haven’t warmed up to the title sequence yet, oh well.
that cougar speech was priceless, the look on annie’s face was pretty priceless too. ha!
I have to say that Joan’s attitude towards Auggie didn’t bother me at all. I don’t know, just seemed normal, and a little like she was really concerned for him…I think. But Annie beating the crap out of that guy in the car was awesome! Finally she did it on her own, in the past 2 episodes there was a guy “saving” her every time, but now she was alone, and she was great! Loved that! 😀
Good episode, but I liked the past one better, maybe because of that sweet sparring session 😉 haha! Can’t wait to see Auggie breaking the rules and going out in the field, because by now it’s more than obvious that he can’t help it and he’s going to do it every time he gets the chance.
ok, so maybe it was just me then…but why not use him to just listen in and do things like that out in the field, you can tell he can do it and misses it? maybe I am just protective of Auggie…for sure. The car secene is the est by far! Thanks for the comments, by the way!
Gotta say it was another amazing episode. 🙂 I agree, Joan’s attitude toward Auggie didnt bother me one bit, she was just looking out for him. Annie kicked some major ass, that was my favorite part. lol!! Cant wait for next week’s episode….looks goooddd!! 🙂 I must say I kinda missed Peter Gallagher last night.
And as for the pledge…..I did it too. 🙂
