Week 5 Elimination

It’s elimination night once again and our eight remaining celebrities must sweat out an hour of random performances by musical guests and Macy’s “Stars of Dance.”
But to kick of the show we learn the fate of two of our stars. Nicole and Derek live to dance another day, but sadly Kate and Tony find out immediately that they are in the bottom two.
The encore performance this week goes to Jake and Chelsie’s Cha-Cha. I’m not so sure that these encore performances are about who had the best dance of the night. I think they are just randomly selecting celebrities to dance again. I wouldn’t really mind, but Jake in is undies once was enough for me.
The filler for this week included performances by Maxwell and Debi Nova which I’m sorry to say I’ve not hear of either one. The Macy’s Stars of Dance performance was a tribute to movies in keeping with this week’s theme. The dancers performed to Singin’ in the Rain, Saturday Night Fever, Austin Powers, and Fame. The choreographer for these performances was the same woman who choreographed the Austin Powers movies and the remake of Fame – and I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name. These were pretty good performances – I quite enjoyed watching them.
Filler also included another appearance by Adam Carolla and his “Between the Mirrorballs.” Another very funny bit by Adam, which surprises me because I’m not a big fan of his. He’s funnier than I originally thought and pretty brutal to some of the celebs with his humor.
Throughout the night we find out that Niecy, Evan, Erin, Jake and Chad are all safe to dance next week leaving Pam in the bottom two with Kate. Cue scary music, and Kate is being eliminated. So I was wrong in my prediction, but I’m not sorry that I am. This is as it should be. She was by far the weakest dancer and shouldn’t have lasted as long as she did. What do you all think? So happy Kate is gone now! I think we all cheered when she was eliminated!!

I’m thinking Tony is pretty happy as well!
I almost bought one of those “free Tony” Shirts lol.
He put on a good face but I think he was pretty happy too!
Aw, I know she was horrible and deserved to go home, but Kate leaving still made me sad.
