No, this isn’t a continuation of Parenthood’s “Man Vs Possum” episode this week. It’s totally different. But the same. Got it? No? Me either. But then again, I’m usually one who rambles.

Oh wait, shoot, there’s a show here I’m supposed to be recapping and reviewing isn’t there? Yeah, I thought you would say th … SQUIRREL!!!

Ok, seriously, enough fooling around. Here we go with tonight’s highlights of Parks and Recreation. Think of this as the “What you really need to know” about “The Possum”.

– April is going to be house sitting for Anne while she’s away. Probably not a good idea.

– Tom gave Ann a gift of a teddy bear. Yeah, it’s got a camera in it. Gross right? What’s worse than that? Donna WANTS the teddy bear in her bedroom…

– Fairway Frank is a giant possum on the Pawnee golf course. Be warned. He’s also #3 on the Pawnee most wanted rodent list.

– The Mayor wants Leslie to form a task force to find Fairway Frank and put him down.

– Ron has his own “Swanson Code” about what he can and cannot have on his property. Side note – Mark doesn’t really want to help him if he’s not up to non-Swanson Code.

– Leslie’s task force is Andy, Tom and Leslie. And two guys who don’t want to be there. Thanks to a great slide tackle – Andy caught Fairway Frank!

– Wait, it may NOT be THE Fairway Frank – oh the suspense!

– According to Andy, rodents are bad at sharing but good at tag!

– Leslie cannot do a hand-stand in the pool. Wanted you to know that.

– Leslie can’t kill the possum cause it may not be the right one. April takes the possum to Ann’s house. She let it out of the cage – and it ran amok. (I had to look up how to spell amok.)

– Leslie goes to help April, but they get scared and lock themselves in the bedroom.

– April smiles. It’s news folks. It’s news.

– The possum is gone. Where is it? Leslie will never tell. But I will. He’s at the zoo.

So, what about you guys? What did you think of tonight’s episode? Have we seen too many possum story lines this week? Are possums getting a bad rap? Will Jack Bauer be fighting one FOX next week?

I enjoyed that Ron got a nice little B Story. But the show lacked the giggles a little too much, and with Jerry’s big scene only licking ketchup, we all needed some more Jerry, it was just ok.
