ABC Announces Early Pickups For Comedies

Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment Group, announced early pick-ups of hit Wednesday night comedies “Cougar Town,” “The Middle” and “Modern Family” for the 2010-2011 Season today at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.

    I quit watching Cougar Town a while ago.

    I’m really hoping Better Off Ted gets a better time slot for the rest of the season and gets a nice bump in its ratings.

    I love The Middle, but I wish ABC would renew Better Off Tec more!

    I’m not convinced The Middle is good enough to last a whole season but it’s growing on me as I watch it more. The kids carry that show. Cougar and Modern rock my socks…two of the funniest comedies to hit ABC in a long time. I’ve never watched Ted so….
