Not too much is going on this week with our favorite couple, but some funny stuff does go on within the Squints group. Our tall intern, Fisher, is back and has tickets to the premiere showing of Avatar. He asks Sweets and Hodgins to go with him, and boy are they pumped! They figure they have to camp out in front of the theater so they can get the best seats. Kind of reminds me of this past weekend and the whole “Black Friday” fiasco.
Each of the guys takes a turn waiting in line, but if he is needed back at the Jeffersonian, then someone goes to replace him in line, so he can get back without anyone being the wiser. Well, while Sweets is sitting in line a girl gets all frisky and cozy with him. She even shows him her tattoos. Let me just point out, that in order to do this, she needed to lift up her shirt. This, of course, got Sweets attention. Especially after hearing Fisher tell of his sexual escapades nearing the 100 mark. But as she starts to make her move on him, he tells her that he has a girlfriend (don’t forget Daisy, everyone) and stops her. Just then, Fisher shows up, and the girl stars eyeing him. Once he tells her that he is a forensic anthropologist she gets all excited and starts her moves on him. Fisher, of course, goes for it!
Meanwhile, back at the Squint cave, Hodgins is bending some pipe to try and prove something, when Angela walks in and sees a tattoo on his arm….of her!
She gets a bit perturbed and then finds out that it was her father that gave it to him, so he wouldn’t forget. You know, the ZZ Top –guy!
Finally, while in line, Hodgins explains to Sweets that it is the quality of the sex, Sweets has with Daisy, and that all the times they have “done it” is more than Fisher’s. The theater opens it’s doors and the line starts moving, but nobody is telling Fisher and the girl, who are still in the tent on the sidewalk.
My favorite moments: The whole “Bow Chick A Wow Wow” scene with B&B. And when Hodgins, Sweets and Fisher are watching a preview of the movie on Angela’s big screen in her office and then Fisher asks if she gets porn on this thing… hehe.
Gross moment: when they pull the mailman’s body out of the grease and all the skin and guts come sliding off… ew!
The case was about a mailman that was killed because he videotaped an autistic teen playing a perfect video game, but then claimed it was him who did it, was awarded some type of recognition. The father of the teen killed him, because his son had done something great and the mailman took it away from him and wouldn’t even give him credit.
What did you think? Like having the storyline mostly about the squints for a change? Looking forward to next weeks episode, I am!

The product placement was definitely annoying – although the actual “waiting-in-line” plot would have been fine with me given a made-up sci-fi premiere, so the real offense was the crassness of the placement not the way it influenced the plot.
I agree the crime was not so interesting (although the reinterpretation of the documentary “King of Kong” was amusing). I do hope, though, that this episode’s efforts to purposefully equate some of Bones’ behavior with the autistic kid’s means that an official recognition of her implied asperger’s syndrome is in the works.
