This week opens with a junkyard rumble dance including a husband and wife make out for the camera. When the graphics are on screen, Cat kind of looks like she’s naked. It’s the first time this season that the viewers do all the work and I don’t know about you but I have mixed feelings about my faith in the voting public to choose the right contestants. Are you ready for this?
Bottom Two Girls
Noelle: Are we surprised? I’m not, her dances were fine, but fine is simply not good enough anymore. Even watching her solo, I’m just “blah” about it. She holds no wow factor.
Kathryn: I admit to being a little surprised at this one, but I think people can’t tell her and Noelle apart. I like Kathryn a smidge more than I like Noelle though and so I hope she’s in it for another week. When Kathryn dances I’m actually compelled to watch her.
Bottom Two Boys
Ryan: Again, not surprised. He really needs to work on his solo and come into his own. I think he’s a great dancer, but he is getting lost a little. We get to see his solo from last night again, and I actually think it’s better this time!
Nathan: Interesting. I would bet that Nathan thought he was safe, maybe his tween vote isn’t as strong as he thought! He is a strong dancer, one of the strongest technically (I’d like a dance off between him and Jakob), I’m torn about who I want to stay!
Entertainment
The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers: Stupid name aside, these guys are INSANE! The synchronized moves are incredible. The isolations are sharp. The choreography highlights talent and makes sense.
Snoop Dogg: The most exciting part of this (for me) was seeing former SYTYCDers Dominic and Hawk do their thing.
Eliminated Dancers: Noelle and Nathan- I’m pleased about Noelle leaving, but I’m shocked that Nathan is leaving. That leaves just one contemporary male dancer in the top 8, which is just unheard of.
On a semi-unrelated note, is anyone else seeing the Megan Mullally “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” commercial? With her music video premiering during the finale? I adore Megan Mullally, why is hocking her pipes for chemical butter? ::sad face::

For the life of me, i couldn’t figure out if they were saying “League” or “Legion” of Extraordinary Dancers… they were good tho
