Am I the only one who screamed “FINALLY!” at the TV screen during this episode? Surely not.
Yes, Teri was SO busted when Will discovered that she’s not preggo. In doing so, we got possibly the most dramatic episode of Glee so far with only a few musical numbers. While normally that would be a bad thing, this moment had to come and when it did, the pay off was real and vastly rewarding.
Sue was once again the catalyst for much in the eppie as she convinced the principal that glee shouldn’t get a yearbook photo since everyone defaced it anyway. Will, of course, argued against this and when he wants to shell out $325 for an ad space to use for the club photo, Teri says no. As this is a healthy marriage (right), he goes ahead and pays the piper… ah, the principal for an ad.
Kurt is waging his own campaign to not have a yearbook photo and his club members agree, all except Rachel. In preparation for years of being in the paparazzi’s lens, she’s determined to be in the yearbook as much as possible. But as Will’s ad is so small, only two glee members can be in it, so he lets them choose co-leaders. Everyone but Rachel takes a step back, but who will be her co-leader? Not Mercedes. Not Artie. Definitely not Britney. Finn says yes, then backs out at the last minute after his football team starts defacing him in person instead of waiting for the yearbook pic.
But during the session with the photog, Rachel learns he’s casting for a local commercial and she offers him the glee club without Will’s knowledge. The commercial is rather boring — until they convince the owner of the mattress store (who is trying to prove that mattresses aren’t just for sleeping and fornicating) that they can sing (Van Halen’s “Jump” with some great choreography). Have they really made glee cool? Ah, that would be too much to hope for.
Emma has bad news for Will — her wedding is the same day as sectionals, so she can’t be there to support the club. Will accuses Ken of planning it that way, but for once Emma defends her soon-to-be husband-in-name-only.
Then, as Will is looking for his pocket square for his school pic, he goes through Teri’s underwear drawer and finds a fake pregnancy belly. He confronts her in the kitchen with a deep sense of betrayal. She says she was losing him since he took on glee and started feeling better about himself. “This marriage works because you don’t feel good about yourself,” she says. “No,” he answers, “this marriage works because I love you.”
Will decides to sleep at the school, where he discovers a stack of mattresses the store owner sent the team as a thank you gift. He unwraps one and sleeps on it. The next day Sue tells him that the team is disqualified from sectionals because they were paid for the commercial. In the end, Will disqualifies only himself so the club can continue.
Meanwhile, Quinn has decided she wants to be in the Cheerios pic in her uniform, but Sue’s not having it. Until after Quinn hears about Will and threatens to tell the principal about how much swag Sue takes (and even sells on eBay). Sue said Quinn always remindered her of a young Sue — see how that’s paying off? In return, Quinn gets glee that photo in the yearbook, but decides against the Cheerio pic.
And yes, the glee photo is fodder for Hitler mustaches and devil goatees. Some things, like high school, are so predictable.
Think Will is really going to divorce Teri? Will Emma really marry Ken? Are you ready to finally have the club get to sectionals? Give us your Two Cents…

No, I think I did a fist pump when that happened. SOOO happy that’s over!
Now with Will knowing Teri’s secret, no way he’s gonna let Emma marry Ken. 🙂
And I’m SO glad that storyline is dunzo.
And omg, how fun did jumping on the mattresses look?! 🙂
