Who got the votes to stay in for another week? And who had to dance for their lives? Who is going home? The opening routine is awesome! Of course it is a Wade Robson routine, his pieces are definitely recognizable and very cool. Let’s get down to business.
Bottom Three Girls
Karen: No surprise here, their routine was not good. Also, casting Karen in the vixen role must be alienating her from the female tween vote that calls in. What the hell was that? I won’t be surprised at all if she goes home tonight.
Channing: She really needs to boost her personality for both the home viewers and the judges. Finally, a solo worth talking about! Channing may be a little hard to get to know but I hope she gets to stick around and warm up to America.
Mollee: I’m not as surprised at this as some might be since the routine was a little strange. I don’t think the judges are going to be as happy with her solo as they were expecting to be. Even so, I think she’s safe (and apparently they really like her solo!).
Bottom Three Boys
Kevin: He is in deep, deep trouble tonight. And his solo only helps a little, especially as he pulls the same trick twice. It seems a lot like a solo we’ve seen before.
Victor: This kind of is a surprise, but we do have to whittle it down. How long did he turn for? Did you toes cringe when he stood on them like mine did? I’m really impressed with this solo and I think he’s going to be safe.
Nathan: Poor Nathan, one week Nigel is tearing him down and the next he’s calling him the best dancer in SYTYCD history. What does the prodigal son bring us tonight? An amazing solo! It has personality and technique, what a concept!
This week we get to see a Bollywood number and it’s nice to see how it’s supposed to be done. All I can think about watching them is the incredible cardiovascular shape they must be in, and they are so well in synch!
While the judges deliberate we are treated to a bonus performance from singer and guitarist, Arianthe. She is amazing on the guitar!

I am very surprised about the eliminations. I know that Karen is very good and everyone loves her, but they are supposed to dance for their lives in their solos to prove that they belong there, and Karen’s was horrible. Also, Mollie wasn’t really dancing, she was just walking in between tricks. As for the guys, they had to send someone home and they were all great, I think they just chose Kevin somehow and gave him a bull reason. He was not at all uncomfortable in his performances.
