CBS Shortens Its NUMB3RS

Uh oh folks, my favorite dark horse show seems to be in trouble!

CBS announced that it is cutting the episode count of Friday night staple “Numb3rs” from 22 to 16 this season – a likely sign that the show will be done after six seasons.

Does anyone else watch this show? Can we save it?

Say it isn’t so! The episodes I’ve seen this season I’ve loved and I have invested a lot of time in Charlie’s love life and I NEEEEED to see that wedding!!! And Colby is just yumo. Has it really been six seasons? I remember the series premiere!

I don’t watch it regularly, but I do have the first two seasons on DVD. It doesn’t surprise me. CBS seems to be trying to cost-cut and get rid of some of the older, more expensive procedurals (i.e. Without A Trace, almost Cold Case, The Unit).
