Two cat episodes in a row?

That turns out to be a quickly forgotten flash, as the gang balances Mac and Dennis’ relationship against Frank and Charle’s, while Dee takes step after step to becoming “Crazy Cat Lady.” Laughs from start to finish here, and the storylines are seamless as they all come together in the final minutes.

12:00 PM, on a Friday, and Dee is showing off her new cat to Mac and Dennis, who have come over to borrow a snack bowl for movie night. Dee berates them for showing up together, noting that they are incapable of spending an hour apart from each other. Dennis starts to become homophobic, listening to Mac’s analysis of the actors’ physiques in Predator. He suggests a breakup, saying he’s “not flourishing”.

After Dennis throws him out for filing a missing persons report when Dennis took too long getting a DVD, Mac is forced to move in with Frank and Charlie, where he covers the furniture in plastic and begins to lay down new rules on hygiene and diet. Charlie and Frank both end up at Dee’s apartment, where the “gruesome twosome” is more obsessed with the cat trapped in the wall than with Dennis’ movie choice.

Dee reunites the “dynamic duo” by getting Mac and Dennis to the same restaurant under the illusion of meeting “a large breasted woman” (who Mac assumed would be paying for his drinks). Dee gives up on the reunion idea and returns to find the apartment filled with cats, whom Charlie is using to entice the first cat out of the wall. When Dee’s bird lure fails to work, she clims into the wall after the cat, but gets stuck. The gruesome twosome ditches her to meet up with the dynamic duo for another viewing of Predator.
