Happy Halloween! I won’t see you guys again until after the spooky night is over, so make sure to have some good fun like our friends at Greendale, and don’t O.D. on candy!

Annie is throwing a Day of the Dead party, and for extra credit, Senor Chang’s students can attend. Jeff wants no part of it, but through tears, Annie gets him to say he’ll show up. Meanwhile though, he’s crushing on his statistics teacher, even though she’s made it quite clear that she does not under any circumstances date students.

At Annie’s party, the costumes are as follows: Annie is a day of the dead skeleton, Abed is Batman (complete with Christian Bale voice), Troy is…well, actually I have no idea what Troy is, Britta is a squirrel, Shirley is Harry Potter, and Pierce is the Beast Master. Senor Chang soon bails Annie’s party in favor of the faculty party, and Jeff soon follows, even after promising Annie that he’ll make sure her party is cool by sticking around.

Meanwhile, Pierce is feeling his age as he takes his daily regimen of pills. In the bathroom during Annie’s party, he trades pills with Starburns, and suddenly (as Troy puts it) Pierce is ‘tripping balls’. Pierce’s high makes him depressed about being old, and he builds a fort in the library saying he’s going to kill himself, and only Jeff can make it better. Jeff, by the way, is hitting on his stats teacher, and he’s finally successful by taking the Senor Chang approach: “Please sleep with me.” So, begging! It works, as long as he promises not to tell anyone and walk at a distance behind her while they make their exit. He doesn’t get away that cleanly though, and soon the group spies Jeff, asking him to help Pierce. Even though Jeff really wants to head out with the hot stats teacher dressed as Robin Hood, (he’s dressed as a cowboy, by the way.) he does the right thing and goes to comfort Pierce.

Jeff tells him that he’s lived more life than any other 60 year old he knows, and it seems that Pierce is slowly coming down from his high. They get ready to leave the fort Pierce has built around him with chairs, but suddenly it begins to collapse! And there is Abed/Batman, there to save the day and pull Jeff and Pierce away from danger.

What are all of you dressing up as for Halloween? Any thoughts on who/what exactly Troy was supposed to be? Have a happy and safe Halloween, and don’t forget to leave your Two Cents in the comments!

  1. Probably the best episode of the Community season yet .

Haha, I caught up on Community this weekend (like 5 episodes worth) and this one was great. But MAN I was sooooo routing (rooting?) for Jeff to get with the HOT Stats teacher, who- oh by the way- played Nurse Rose and dated McDreamy for a while in Grey’s. And, yes, when she was on Grey’s I oogled over her, too.

She’s soooo cute!! 😀 I hope Jeff gets with her in a future episode.

THAT’S where I recognized the Stats teacher from! I loved Abed as Batman, I think that was the most lol worthy part of the whole thing.

Oh, and Adeb was a really funny Batman, and Annie is hot, too.
