I love laughing out loud, especially while hanging with friends, with Neil Patrick Harris on the television set. That’s exactly what I did this week while watching How I Met Your Mother! Let me tell you all about this hilarious episode, which I hope you liked as much as I did.

Barney and Robin: Robin is extremely Canadian in this episode. Because of this, she gets in trouble while getting into a fight at the Hoser Hut, and is about to get deported unless she becomes an American citizen. Barney helps her study for this test, while being his sexy, hilarious self. She is doing very well, but then ends up finding relief in the Hoser Hut again. She gets so drunk, and ends up in Toronto, where Barney finds her. They go to Tim Hortons, and Robin is mistaken for an American. Barney defends her, but in the process ends up in a Canadian hospital after he takes a beating. He walks back into Ted and Robin’s apartment all bandaged up, finally admitting that Canada isn’t THAT bad. Robin then makes the decision to be a duel citizen, ensuring her stay in the country.

Ted, Marshall, and Lily: One of Ted and Marshall’s favorite/horrible places is closing in Chicago. They flashback to when they were younger, taking road trips, and drinking Tantrum…a high caffeine beverage. They were planning on taking one more trip, and to Ted’s dismay, Marshall invites Lily. Lily has to pee every 10 minutes, which would be the MOST ANNOYING THING EVER. She also brings along an audio book, read aloud by Kenny Rogers. The book is about a dog named Sparky (my dog’s name, but he died a few years ago L). We find out that Sparky loved to chase balls, and grapefruit, but that’s beside the point. The three of them end up at a “couples” Bed-N-Breakfast, and Ted is so unhappy, that he kidnaps Marshall, who wasn’t wearing any underwear. They end up at the pizza place, but are so unhappy with each other, that they drive home in silence. Sparky’s story is playing in the background, and the story of love is happening. Marshall and Ted end up loving each other again, and when they return to Lily, she hadn’t even realized that they were gone. The very end of the episode shows the boys in the car downing cans of Tantrum, and Lily on the roof after doing the same. HILARIOUS!

Next week isn’t a new episode, but it is one of the great ones! Enjoy it! I hope you all enjoyed this episode as much as my friend and I did. What did you think about this episode? Put your TwoCents in the comments! I’ll see you all next week.

I LOVED this episode. As a lover of all things Canadian, someone on set REALLY did their homework. The Tim Horton’s set was SO freaking real! I love when they do Robin/Canada episodes. And I LOVE how deep they’re going into Barney/Robin land. Have I mentioned that I LOVE this show and everything about it?! 🙂
