What’s up, Family Guy fans? Are you ready for a little vulgar, offensive, insane comedy courtesy of our zany Griffin family? I know I am. And how has Fox rewarded us? With a Stewie-Brian “Road to” episode right off the bat! Let’s get it on!
Premise: Stewie invents a control that lets him jump between parallel universes. He and Brian begin their adventure between each of these universes. Here is where they traveled, in order of appearance:
1. Quahog where Christianity never existed, and thus, everything is 1,000 years more advanced because there was never any ‘dark ages’. Awesome.
2. The Flinstones. Meh. Not funny.
3. The US never dropped an atomic bomb on Japan so everything is Japanese. Meg is still ugly and dishonorable. Hahaha!
4. Everyone has two head: one funny, one sad. Of course the Stewie heads are making out and that’s yeah pretty gross. Lol.
5. A Quahog that is stuck in an ice age, and Brian and Stewie teleport into ice and get stuck. Stewie starts complimenting Brian which makes his tail wag which he uses to melt the ice and tap the control.
6. Everyone has to poop “right just now”. Weird. But Stewie’s face was pretty priceless.
7. A universe where everything is drawn by Disney; Stewie and Brian are overly happy. Hahahahaha. Peter sings a song “it’s a wonderful day for Pie”. Quagmire is a bird; Meg is Ursula from the Little Mermaid. Everything is great until they realize that in the Disney universe everyone hates Jews (and kills them), apparently.
8. The Robot Chicken universe!!! YES!!!
9. Frank Sinatra was never born, so Kennedy was never elected President, so Nixon won the election, and botched the Cuban Missile Crisis, so the US is a nuclear waste land.
10. I don’t actually know what this one was. Readers?
11. A world entirely of hills and fire hydrants. (Brian goes “love it” and Stewie goes “hate it” and they warp.)
12. A world entirely of naked gay guys holding balloons and a big rainbow flag. (Stewie goes “love it” and Brian goes “hate it” and they warp.)
13. Stewie as a real baby and Brian as a real dog.
14. Everything is presented as a Washington Post political cartoon. Brian pretends he gets the cartoon and Stewie goes “Oh shut the f*ck up” and they teleport.
15. A world where guys far away shout compliments.
16. Misleading portraits.
17. Dogs are like people, and humans are like dogs. So dogs have humans on leashes and everything. Brian, for obvious reasons, does not want to teleport away! So they start to fight over it and of course the controller breaks. A police dog says Brian has to put Stewie on a leash. They visit the Griffins in dog form- Meg is an ugly pit-bull and Stewie is a poodle with big afro puffs and Brian is a human. LOL. Poodle Stewie tells Baby Stewie why they keep jumping randomly and Poodle Stewie reminds baby Stewie that he had the shuffle button on.
Soon Stewie bites Peter and gets taken away to be euthanized so Dog Brian and Human Brian and Dog Stewie have to break Baby Stewie free. LOL. Baby Stewie and Dog Brian teleport back after being broken out and Human Brian decides to jump, also. Stewie and Brian try to figure out if they are home and we see Peter stuff Meg’s face in his butt and fart in her face- where they realize yes, they are home.
Human Brian embarks on a journey to live a human life. And gets hit by a car. Oops!
I think this was actually a pretty funny episode with a lot of quick but really funny bits especially during the teleports. I loved #11 and #12 universes the best. It was just perfectly timed. Well that does it readers, what did you think? What were your favorite parallel universes?

I may be in the minority, but I’ve never liked the Brian/Stewie “Road to” episodes. This one, however, was HILARIOUS. I think my favorite was the Robot Chicken universe (“How does it feel to be on a real network for 30 seconds?”).
Haha, the Robot Chicken multiverse was funny. But the world of fire hydrants and then the world of buff men were my two favorites because of the timing, it was just perfect!! LOL.
Some of the multiverses I didn’t even get… like the really poorly drawn one. I didn’t get it. Did you?
I thought maybe they were trying to make fun of South Park, but I don’t think that’s right.
Southpark was my first guess, too, but I didn’t get what all the “yeahing” was about… so yeah. I hope some other reader knows what it was in reference to.
