Poehler – who earlier this month scored her second consecutive Emmy nomination for her performance on “Saturday Night Live” – will reunite with “Saturday Night Live” star Seth Meyers behind the anchor desk that they shared on “SNL.” The second-season debut of Poehler’s “Parks and Recreation” also will follow that night from 8:30-9 p.m. (ET).
NBC will feature six new episodes of “Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update Thursday” skewering today’s top stories in live half-hour primetime shows, anchored by the show’s signature “Weekend Update” – and the first three will air to start the new fall season. Multiple Emmy winner Lorne Michaels (“Saturday Night Live”) is the executive producer.
