A simple poker game between a couple of friends turns into something completely different when a man falls against the window. He dies on the cold tiles of the stone veranda. Immediately the house and garden are covered with security agents all trying to get the lead on this case, FBI, CIA and ICE. However NCIS is the one who wins since it happened at SecNav’s mansion and their medical examiner is the first on the scene.
Both McGee and Tony seemed to be impressed by Jules, the lead on the security detail for the meeting between the heads FBI, CIA, ICE and SecNav. Both Abby and Ziva are surely not impressed especially when Abby finds out that Jules destroyed her most valid piece of evidence. When Ducky investigates the body he finds a bug underneath it. Since they have no idea wether it is still transmitting Jules wants to rule out that anyone is and stomps the bug breaking it into a hundred small pieces for Abby to reconstruct.
Jules tells Tony and Ziva that it wasn’t a poker game but an intelligence summit between the four agencies. Gibbs it annoyed to say the least when he finds out he tells he that she is not the one who chooses what information she likes to share. McGee saves her from Gibbs’ wrath by telling him that he needs her help on something in Abby’s lab. Abby shows her annoyance towards the ‘bug stomp’ openly though she backs off a little bit when she realizes that Jules probably could kill her if she wanted to. But than she notices the flirty way McGee is talking with Jules, which annoys her to the point where she shows him how annoyed she is showing her jealousy by saying ‘and in my own lab, McGee!’. McGee had noticed the jealousy, it was funny when he asked her if she felt neglected, that was very un-McGeeish and at the same time so right.
Tony was still preoccupied with Michael and Ziva, he was following her phone calls even to the point where he was translating what she was saying on the phone right before she told him that she would be back in a little while and left the building. When Ziva leaves Michael and returns to NCIS, Tony takes her place and tells Michael once again to leave but did he really expect Michael to listen to him when even Gibbs couldn’t convince him to leave Ziva alone and to go back to Israel. The relationship between Ziva and Tony drops down even further then it had already.
Tony and Ziva’s relationship had already drop down towards zero degrees before he went to her apartment. But after the fight that ensued between him and Michael when not Ziva but Michael was the one opening the door, I am not sure how they are going to play this out. How they will recover from this, I am not sure. But I guess that we will see that next week. On one hand I would like to say that it was out of Tony’s hands, when Michael turned on him and tried to attack him with the glass shard. But then again, if he hadn’t been there Michael wouldn’t have been killed by his hands. At the same time it makes you even more curious about what he was really doing in DC. And of course how much Ziva knows about it, you would say that she knew what he was doing given with her training at Mossad and all. But it could also be that she seduced Michael because her father asked her too. You never really know which curveball they will throw at us.
Ziva who was up a tree, and no she wasn’t confused and the following three way phone conversation with McGee and Tony was one of those typical NCIS moments.
Tony complaining, when Fornell walks away after he requested Tony to do something, about loving to take orders from people who one minute try to frame him for murder and the next they tread him like he is a perfectly capable agent.
And Gibbs who was enjoying that scene where Ducky had Fornell in a choke grip way too much especially when he was guiding both of their movements exactly into the right way. That grin on his face, he was enjoying it. That is why we love the show, or at least it is why I love It.
I know one thing, it makes me even more curious to see the next episode. I wanna see it now! I want to know what they have in store for us are you curious? You heard my two cents about this episode, do you want to share yours with me?
