This week, Gordon surprises the remaining three chefs with their loved ones. Then, he gives them 90 minutes to prepare one hundred portions of one dish for their hundred mystery guests. The chefs are feeling pretty good about the challenge until Gordon introduces one hundred highly respected and awarded chefs in L.A., some even with Michelin stars. Talk about intimidating!
The results were nowhere near close. Gordon announces that 76% liked Danny’s dish the least, which was a huge blow to Danny. Now for the winner and it’s Paula, with 76% of the chefs voting her dish the best. Paula wins a makeover and a live cooking segment with Gordon on Good Day L.A. Danny and Andrea have to clean, prep and do laundry and get to see Paula’s TV appearance when J.P. has them cleaning the plasma TVs.
At service, each gets a turn running the pass and Gloria and Scott help cook in the kitchen. You know what that means. It’s time for Gloria and Scott to sabotage and see if the chefs can catch the mistakes. Paula’s up first and starts out nervous and awkward. She misses that Gloria gave her squash puree instead of carrot but catches Scott’s soup error.
Danny is up next and doesn’t catch J.P.’s sabotaged ticket and also misses Gloria’s raw dish. He’s nervous and it shows but he comes into his own towards the end. When it’s Andrea’s turn, she’s assertive to a fault. She doesn’t catch Scott’s halibut instead of Dory and makes up for the error by constantly coming down on Scott. He doesn’t appreciate it and says to another chef that he’s going to punch her in the face. I would not make an enemy out of Scott.
Service goes so well that Gordon calls it their best service and he’s actually smiling. He sends them back to the dorms and tells them to pick who should not continue. Andrea picks Danny and Danny picks Andrea. Paula also picks Andrea. And with that, Gordon sends Andrea home, commending her on her work in Hell’s Kitchen.
So, our final two: Danny and Paula! It was looking like they were the frontrunners for a few weeks now and I’m glad they’ve made it to the end. What do you think? Do you like the final two and who do you think will win? I’m putting my money on Paula. Tell me your TwoCents in the comments!

All I really have to say is 1) I felt horrible for Danny losing that badly when he’s done so well so far, and 2) thank GOD Andrea is GONE! 🙂
Agreed on both points! I’m stunned Andrea made it that far.
