Betty is back! It’s been so long, I forgot where we left off. Oh yea, Betty started dating Matt and was taking it to another level (If you know what I mean). Wilhelmina is still playing mommy. Meade Publishing is still going broke. So let’s see what will happen, shall we?
We start out with Betty getting an egg-vitation to Cal Hartley’s Easter egg hunt. Mr. H is Matt’s father, and very wealthy…. I mean extremely wealthy! She gets her invitation at work and Daniel thinks it is for him, only to be bummed when he finds out it’s for Betty, and even more so when he hears her family got one too. Mr. H supports charities and media like magazine publishing, so Betty feels she can get Matt to ask his father to meet with Daniel.
Meanwhile, Wilhelmina is having a photo shoot with little William (little Willie) and the photographer says the baby looks like Christina. So, worried Willie asks the doctor if the baby can be the surrogates. He says “yes, if she had sex before the invetro, she could have gotten preggers and the invetro wouldn’t have taken.” Holy Crap!
Matt doesn’t want to ask his father to meet Daniel. He likes to keep his life separate from his father/son relationship. But Betty couldn’t tell Daniel that Matt wouldn’t help. So when Matt & Daniel meet in the hall, Daniel thanks him for the meeting. Oops, Betty explains how she didn’t want to hurt Daniel and ruin what she has with Matt.
Marc tries to get sex info from Christina while quizzing her (Amanda steals this show). This gets Christina thinking, and she tells Stuart that she feels the baby might be hers and his.
Daniel and Willie decide to make concessions to help keep Mode afloat. So “pink slips” are being passed out. Amanda gets one! No, say it isn’t so…. Not Mandy! So Betty takes Daniel to the egg hunt to talk to Mr. H. But he gets stopped by security. Matt helps her by introducing him to his father. Matt is not happy about Betty’s antics….. Hello, does he not know what she is like?
Mr. H cons Daniel into putting on a bunny costume and pass out eggs for the kids before he will talk business. Matt is afraid his dad will be controlling if he works with Meade. Daniel looks ridiculous in his outfit! I don’t think we would like the business side of Mr. H. In the end, Daniel gets the deal! Everyone is hired back, even Amanda!
Willie and Christina agree to get a blood test to determine the mother of the baby. The results say the Wilhelmina is the mother. Sorry, but ain’t no way in hell I believe that one!

Hooray for the return of Ugly Betty. I thought “Rabbit Test” was a great episode, and I’m curious as to whether this sets up Christina’s exit, or perhaps some more future drama between Christina and Willi. Either way, it was quite entertaining and im excited for next week. I also loved that they used the song “Before It Gets Better” by Earlimart during the ending montage…great song that fit the mood and really makes you empathize with Christina.
