Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: Dollhouse, 30 Rock, Supernatural

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Touching Evil (US version)

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: Back in 1999, freak windstorm knocked out our electricity for days. It finally came back on but the cable stayed out. The much delayed airing of the Buffy episode “Earshot” was happening that day and I wasn’t going to let not having cable stop me from seeing it. I plugged in the old 3” black and white and had to spend most of the episode holding the antenna in the one specific spot that made the picture static free but it was worth it. Joss Whedon, giving fans the “We will make this work!” mentality since 1997.

Bio: I’m a displaced Jersey girl who currently lives in New Hampshire and happily works in a small college library. I spend all day surrounded by books but I’m the biggest TV nerd. I can often be found singing along loudly and terribly to Dr. Horrible in my car and can almost always answer questions like, “Who was that guy in that movie thing?”

Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: The Office, Ghost Whisperer, House

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Dawson’s Creek, Gilmore Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (yes, they did actually create the WB network for me. Also, this is maybe the hardest question I’ve ever been asked).

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: So many good clips to choose from! On the dramatic side, I would say a great moment of TV Magic was when Buffy jumps to her death to save Dawn. Joss Whedon is simply an amazing storyteller, and I think it’s an understatement to say that’s one of his better moments. Other incredible Whedon-induced jaw-drop would be the entire “Once More With Feeling” musical episode.

Bio: I grew up in and around Denton, Texas, where I graduated with a B.S. in Advertising from the University of North Texas. I try to keep life as interesting as possible (or I just get bored easily?), which has led to frequent moves everywhere from the beaches of New Jersey to the Netherlands. I currently live in Fort Worth, TX with a wonderfully tolerant roommate and my chihuahua, Mr. Potter (after Joey, not Harry).

Since December of 2008 I’ve been writing for ScrantonBranchOffice.com, and I’m really excited about all the new things that are sure to happen on the Office next season. Also, I can’t wait to get started on writing reviews for Ghost Whisperer!

Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: The Office, Lost, How I Met Your Mother

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Battlestar Galactica, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: The M*A*S*H finale in 1983… I was still in the single-digits but clearly remember being absolutely glued to the television set for the very first time.

Bio: Rachel, originally from Oregon and currently living in Utah, is a grant writer and consultant for non-profit arts organizations and part-time professor at the local university. She hopes to one day renovate an old theatre somewhere and turn it into an art house cinema joint. She has been married for almost eight years to a Zombie Cinema expert who enjoys the occasional Lego, and is the mother of a 4-year-old Star-Wars freak and a cute little girly-girl who joined the family last year.

Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: True Blood, Supernatural, Gossip Girl

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Battlestar Galactica, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The X-Files

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: Okay, umm… It’s not really a moment so much as an event. I think it might have to be Coach’s “We will all fall” speech in episode one of Friday Night Lights. But I reserve the right to change my mind at any time.

Bio: Andi hails from a tiny town in Northern California where she spent her childhood with nothing at all to do, but cultivate a love of television. She has sarcasm in abundance and enjoys talking and writing about things she loves. In fact, she probably talks and writes too much, as she has a six-year-old she should be playing with. Said six-year-old, however, is currently cultivating her own love of television and Andi does not want to interfere with such a love affair. Some of her favorite things are sushi, Dean Winchester, Lee Adama, and ignoring housework.

Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: The Big Bang Theory, Family Guy, Scrubs

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars, Dawson’s Creek

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: Probably the very end of Dawson’s Creek, when we finally see who Joey has decided to stay with – and it was who I wanted!

Bio: I’m a total pop culture trivia geek. While I don’t have as much time these days, I still try to soak it up however I can. And as you can see from my reviews, I love great quotes. The shows I watch are mostly guilty pleasure teen shows and offbeat comedies, and Sheldon Cooper from BBT is one of my favorite characters ever (Jim Parsons, for your Emmy consideration!).

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: HMM, it may seem wierd, but the baby Jessica story of the 1980s (the baby who fell down the well). I was very young when it happened, but that has stuck with me unitl this day. I can remember watching it and them pulling her out of the well. I cried!

Bio: I love to watch TV, although with kids and a career it is tough. Thank God for the DVR! I also enjoy watching movies, spending time with my family and having fun with my friends.

Top 3 Favorite Shows Currently On TV: Cold Case, Grey’s Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother

Top 3 Favorite Shows of All Time: Cold Case, Judging Amy, Grey’s Anatomy

My Favorite Television Memory Of All Time: This isn’t really a “TV” moment per se as much as it is a “TV sports” memory, but, it is my favorite, so here goes. In 2001, the New England Patriots made the Super Bowl, and I watched the entire thing, from the Pats being introduced as a team to the red, white, and blue confetti that fell at the end, with my mother, a Pats fan since their inception. It was the first of three Super Bowl titles, and it remains my favorite.

Bio: Originally from Wichita, Kansas, I now live in central Illinois. In real life, I’m a professional cellist and cello teacher, having held positions in several professional orchestras and given recitals throughout the Midwest. In addition to taking TV way too seriously, other hobbies include spending time with family and friends, church activities, writing, blogging, reading, and cooking. I’m happily married to my massage therapist/professional chef husband of four years, and I’m also the proud mommy of an adorable little boy, Caleb, who arrived on January 30, 2009.
