My favorite characters are Arthur and Joan. Their dynamic in working together at the Agency as a married couple, plus seeing how their relationships with other, older agents (Henry Wilcox) must have shaped their careers. Add that to how they treat the newer, younger agents (Joan is a bit of a mama bear, while Arthur likes to help people advance), and it really shows how the CIA has likely changed over the years.
I think one of my earlier favorite moments was when Annie finally learned to trust her instincts and pay attention (during Walter’s Walk), and went back for the woman and her son after being betrayed by the British officer. In terms of character growth, however, I really liked when she went to tell Danielle about being a CIA operative. It wasn’t a drawn out scene, but it was very open and honest and what I’m guessing a true reveal would be between sisters.
